We warmly welcome individuals of all ages and abilities to participate in sports and social activities.
Mike Ridley Court (Court 1) is solely for tennis. Court 2 serves multiple purposes. The village hall is available for badminton and pickleball.
The club has been in existence since 1987 and boasts a strong membership.
The Sports Club is run by a committee that oversees membership, maintains the courts and organises fun tournaments and social events.
Tennis is very social outdoor racquet sports game played by either two or four players. Courts can be booked at any time when not being used for club sessions.
We have sessions during the week for all abilities.
Badminton is a high energy sport played indoors with lightweight racquets over a high net. It is usually played by four players although singles is also popular for the more energetic.
Pickleball is a fast-growing paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis, played with paddles and a perforated plastic ball on a small court with a net similar to tennis. It can be played by two or four players
Elham Sports Club hosts tournaments and social events throughout the year.
Our April 16th event featured doubles matches, partner rotation, AGM and an American Supper.
